Video Tools
Loom - Free for life for teachers and students! Loom is an asynchronous video communication tool that helps you get your message across through instantly shareable videos. With Loom, you can record your camera, microphone, and desktop simultaneously. Your video is then instantly available to share through Loom's patented technology. View the ICOE led presentation and recording for more information!
Flipgrid - Facilitate video discussion, each grid is like a message board where teachers can pose questions, called "topics," and their students can post video responses that appear in a tiled grid display. Here's an idea for teaching lessons through it. A whiteboard has also been added. You can now record a whiteboard style instructional video for up to five minutes then publish it for your students to watch and respond to. Watch this video to see how the whiteboard function works.
Screencastify - Use Screencastify to record your screen, voice and yourself while giving instructions and guiding students through some learning materials from a distance. For a quick overview of ways to set up and use Screencastify, view a presentation here.
